About the Event

Lester Wright Jr. Youth XC Series

Dates: September 9, 2025 - November 6, 2025

Location: Holmdel Park, 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733

Description: This youth cross country series offers various race distances, including 400m, 800m, 2k, 3k, 4k, and 5k races. The top 10 runners in each race receive ribbons, and teams of 3 runners compete for scoring. Registration closes 24 hours before each race.

Courses and Prices:

Train & Race (1 practice, 1 race/week): $175.00
Train & Race (2 practices, 1 race/week): $255.00
Shore A.C./Gone Running Junior Olympics Team: $355.00
Individual Races (400m, 800m, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k): $10.00 per race

October 21st: Holmdel Park
October 28th: Holmdel Park (Championship Meet)

Championship Meet: October 28th, 2025, 9:00 AM start. Awards ceremony with medals for top 10 in each race and trophies for top teams.

400m: Grades K & younger (co-ed)
800m: Grades 1 & 2 (co-ed)
2k: Grades 3 & 4 (co-ed)
3k: Grades 5 & 6 (co-ed)
4k/5k: Grades 7 & 8+ (co-ed)
