Lewis Memorial 10 Miler

Race Information

The Lewis Memorial 10 Miler is a prediction race, meaning participants may not wear watches. The winner is the runner who runs closest to their predicted time. Note: FSRC Grand Prix results will be based on actual finish time.

Where: Palmieri Activities Center, 16376 John Walsh Way, Emmitsburg (On the Mount St. Mary's Campus)

Why: Because you love the challenge of running wicked hills in freezing weather.

Who: FSRC members. Non-members can join the club for $25.

How much: Free for Steeplechasers members.

Registration: Please register online before race morning or from your phone at the venue. No in-person registration.

Bib Pickup: Race morning starting at 8:00 AM inside the PAC building.

Course Details

The course is mostly paved but very hilly, with about a one-mile section of unpaved road.

Time Limit: 2:30 (approximately 15 min/mile pace). Not an event for walkers.

Breakfast: Bring a food item to share.

Directions

From Rt. 15 North, turn left on Annandale Rd on the Mount St. Mary’s University campus. Park anywhere in the lot in front of the PAC building.

Weather

Winter race; weather could be an issue. Announcements will be made on the Frederick Steeplechasers Facebook Group. Registered runners will be notified by email.
