About the Event

Lorain County Relay for Life 5K/1Mile

Join us for a beautiful, 5K/1Mile run/walk and kid-friendly fun run at Lorain County Community College. The course is fast and flat and stick around after for a classic car show, kids play zone with bounce houses and activities. There will be food trucks along with silent auction and more. Join us for a day filled with fun activities and Fighting Cancer!

Event Timeline

8:00am: Relay 5K and 1 Mile
9:00am: Kids Fun Run
10:00am-2:00pm: Relay Car Show
11:00am: Opening Ceremonies
12:00pm: Survivor Lunch
1:00pm-4:00pm: Kids Fest + Kids Car show with inflatables and touch a truck
4:30pm: Luminaria

Food Trucks and raffles throughout the day as well! All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Your support helps us reach our goal of raising $85,000.

Runner Perks:

5K & 1 Mile participants will receive a t-Shirt and medal.
Kids' Sprint participants will receive a medal.
Awards for top 3 Male and Female 5K finishers - Goodr Sun Glasses
Awards for top 3 Male and Female 5K finishers in each age group - Specialized Race Bottle.

Bib/T-shirt Pick Up and Race Day Registration
Registration and Bib/T-shirt pick up starts at 7:00am on Saturday September 27th. Registration tent will be by the Start and Finish parking lot. Online registrations only. No Cash or Credit Card transactions.
