About the Event
Louisville Pure Tap® 5K
The Louisville Pure Tap® 5K, presented by the Louisville Water Company, begins and ends at Louisville Water Tower Park, 3005 River Road. This family-friendly 5k follows a course that runs east and west on River Road. The race will start at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 23, 2025 and will be professionally chip-timed. All participants will receive a commemorative short-sleeved race shirt and custom finishers medal. Dogs are welcome with an additional $10 fee. Proceeds support Friends of Louisville Metro Animal Services. After the race, join the after-pawty from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Club K9 Dog Park Bar, 9316 Taylorsville Road (dogs wearing race swag get their owners in free). All dogs must be fixed with proof of rabies, distemper and bordetella.
