Main Street Kids Run / Walk

Join us for the Annual Main Street Mile Kids Run, hosted by Shoes & Brews and the Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA). This merry mile (just about one mile total) is open to all ages, all abilities, and all levels of holiday spirit! Before the Longmont Lights Parade takes over downtown, enjoy a rare moment to run, walk, or dance your way down Main Street — all while supporting a great cause.

Suggested Donation: $10 per participant

All proceeds benefit Colorado Kids Belong, an organization dedicated to improving experiences and outcomes for kids in foster care by spreading awareness, connecting communities, and supporting foster families.

• Festive 1-mile run/walk along Main Street under the holiday lights

Race Day Details

• Check-in & registration: Cheba Hut parking lot (635 Main St, Longmont)
• Opens: 3:30 PM
• Run/Walk starts: 4:45 PM
• Warm-up & Stretches start: 4:30 PM

Course:

Down the west side of Main to 3rd Ave, U-turn, and finish on the east side at Longs Peak Ave

After-Party:

Hot chocolate bar & snacks at Cheba Hut before the Lights Parade!

Registration:

Online registration is highly encouraged! Day-of registration opens at 3:30 PM at the Shoes & Brews tent in the Cheba Hut parking lot. Each participant — kids and adults — should register individually. Kids receive a race bib, goodie bag, and festive lights; adults receive a race bib.

$5 suggested donation per participant, payable online or on race day.
