Event Overview
Manitou’s Revenge is a 53 mile ultramarathon that begins in Windham, N.Y. on the northern Black Dome Trail. The course follows the Long Path from Acra Point all the way to downtown Phoenicia, N.Y. This is a unique ultramarathon experience that is notably more demanding than your average 50 miler.
This grueling course is characterized by rocky and steep terrains, challenging runners with much hiking and some runnable sections. With limited aid stations, participants should be self-sufficient and prepared for extended periods between them. The course gets progressively more difficult, and runners may find themselves tackling challenging sections in the dark.
