Race Info

Lace-up your sneakers and join us for the 2nd annual Mardi Gras Run x Planet Fitness, a race supporting Boys & Girls Clubs Metro Louisiana. This Mardi Gras themed event is perfect for the whole family, featuring:

• 5K Race: Run or walk through a scenic course Chip-timing with age group awards Includes a bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal
• Kid’s Dash: An untimed fun run for the little ones, ages 10 and under Includes a mini bib, designer shirt and a kids dash pin

If your child wants to run the kid’s dash and doesn’t want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!

Vendors: Experience the NOLA vibes in our vendor village! Water & Prepackaged snacks will be available

A portion of the proceeds benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Louisiana, an organization dedicated to empowering young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible members of the community.

SWAG: Race Entry includes a medal, a super soft t-shirt, and a custom bib!

Packet Pickup: Packet pickup is currently scheduled for race day ONLY and will open 1.5 hours before the event starts. If a pre-race day packet pickup opens up we will email all participants!

Event Schedule

• 7:00 am - 8:50am - Packet Pickup
• 9:00 am - Kids Dash, National Anthem and Race Start!
• 10:00 am - 10:50 am - Race Awards
• 11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Raffle Giveaways

Results are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

Raffle Giveaway! Exciting Raffle Prizes - Must be present to Win! Raffle prizes being drawn every 15 minutes from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Prizes including several gift cards and vendor swag bags!

Race Awards: Overall Male/Female/Non-Binary Top 3 Male/Female/Non-Binary in: Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

You must contact us within two weeks to arrange pick up of any awards not received.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: All events proceed rain, shine, or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no-refund policy. If you are unable to participate in the event, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal, and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. We will only cancel if our venue requires cancellation.
