Mark the Barber's Polar Run/Walk for Life

Race Info

Mark the Barber's Polar Run/Walk for Life is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2026. The event includes a 5K Run or Run/Walk, a 1 Mile Run/Walk, and a 5K Walk Only.

The event will take place at Maple Valley Elementary School, 138 Maple Valley St., Sandusky, MICHIGAN. The 5K course will utilize the Diamond Trail and city streets, with some dirt roads. The 1 mile course will be on the paved Diamond Trail.

Packet pick-up and the awards ceremony will be held inside Maple Valley Elementary School.

This is a fundraiser sponsored by Right to Life of Sanilac County to raise funds for Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry.

• 1 Mile: Price starts at $20. Registration opens November 15, 2025 at 10:00pm EST.
• 5K Walk Only: Price starts at $20. Registration opens November 15, 2025 at 10:00pm EST.

Registration Details

Early Bird fee: $20 (through 11:59 p.m. on 12-1-24)

Next price: $25 per person (until 11:59 p.m. on 12-15-24)

Price increases to $30 (until Noon on 1-10-25)

Same Day Registration: $35 (begins at 1:00 p.m. on event day)

Additional Information

All participants will receive a swag bag and a finisher medal. Register by 12-29-24 to receive a Long Sleeve Tech shirt.

Age group awards will be given out after the 5K race.

Refreshments: Water, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and snacks will be available.

Facilities: Bathrooms inside school and a Porta-John on site.
