Tumbleweed Triathlon 2025

Dive into the thrill of the Tumbleweed Triathlon and push your limits in our Swim-Bike-Run challenge set on the vibrant UTPB Campus! Kick off with a 400 yd snake swim in a sparkling 50m pool, pedal through a flat, traffic-light 20k bike ride (don't forget your helmet!), and then stride onto a serene campus run.

Limited to 70 solo athletes and 10 dynamic teams. Make sure to grab your timing chip and sort out the USAT registration. The race day starts bright and early with setups at dawn and the race beginning at 7:30 am.

• Triathlon-Sprint - Individual: Sprint, 80 USD or 90 USD, 120 USD or 135 USD
• Triathlon-Sprint - Team: Team, 80 USD or 90 USD, 120 USD or 135 USD

The bike course is a flat 20k 3 Loop around the UTPB campus on closed lanes, with a helmet required. The run is an out and back course on the UTPB campus. Chip Timing will be used. Prices do NOT include a one-day USAT registration fee of $14.00 per adult athlete/participant for non-USAT members.

Packet Pickup:

Packet Pickup will be at MCH MISSION FITNESS CENTER, 8050 E Highway 191, Odessa, TX 79762. Pickup on July 26th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. ID required. Waivers must be signed online to participate.
