Location: Lake Owen, Medicine Bow National Forest, Laramie, WY
The Med Bow Rail Marathon & Half Marathon showcases the picturesque Medicine Bow Rail Trail. Participants will experience unique high-elevation racing at an average of 8,926 feet. The marathon course extends end-to-end on the Rail Trail, briefly entering Colorado, and concludes at a serene mountain lake.
The half-marathon mirrors the northern portion of the marathon course, with loops around Lake Owen. All participants will receive race souvenirs and finishers will earn a medal. The event offers five staffed aid stations and a safe, fun experience for all.
Proceeds
All race proceeds will contribute to the upkeep and improvement of the trail, encouraging its use by the community.
