Medal Madness 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon

Race Information

The Medal Madness race is open to all, and you do not need to be a club member to participate. The races are part of the US Road Running Race Series. Register online; no on-site registration is available.

Race Date: September 13, 2025

Location: South County Regional Park, Punta Gorda, FL 33950

Start Time: 7:30 AM

Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 7:20 AM

Course Details:

• 1 Mile Course: Map (Out-and-back)
• 5K Course: Map (Out-and-back, run twice)
• 10K Course: Map (Out-and-back, run four times)
• 15K Course: Map (Out-and-back, run six times)
• Half Marathon Course: Map (Out-and-back, run six times)

Course Time Limit

All runners must complete their course within 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Finisher Medals

All finishers will receive a themed medal!

Best Costume Contest

We encourage participants to wear costumes; a group photo will be taken before the race, and the best costume will receive a prize!

Additional Information

Park in designated areas near the baseball fields. Restrooms are available at the starting line. The course is asphalt.
