About the Event
Race Details
The Medal Madness 5K & 10K is organized by the US Road Running Club. It is a welcome event for both club members and the general public. This race contributes points towards the US Road Running Race Series.
Event Information
- Date: February 15, 2025
- Location: Loyd H Roland Memorial Park, 221 N 11th St, Akron, PA, 17501, US
- Start Time: 8:00 AM EST
- Course: Paved, Out-and-Back
- Awards: Finisher medals for all participants
- Best Costume: Encourage participants to wear costumes; a photo opportunity and award for the best costume at the beginning of the race.
Course Information
The 5K course is completed twice, while the 10K is completed four times. Both courses are time-limited to 2 hours.
Registration
All runners must register on RunSignup; there will be no on-site registration available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race.
Pricing
- 5K: $30.00
- 10K: $45.00
Club members receive a 50% discount on their registration fees and a US Road Running shirt.
Facilities
Restrooms will be available at the pavilion near the starting line.
