Middlesbrough Half Marathon and Juniors - March 2025

Enjoy a Spring half marathon through the heart of Middlesbrough City Centre. The flat closed road route takes you through Albert Park, passing the home of Middlesbrough FC, before looping around the docks. Come for the buzzing atmosphere and bespoke finisher medal.

Event Details

The Middlesbrough Half Marathon and Juniors event will take place on March 2, 2025. The event offers various distances including a Half Marathon, Half Marathon + Event T-Shirt, Junior Race, and Group of 6 Booking.

Route Information

The race starts in Centre Square, outside the Town Hall and MIMA gallery, and heads out through Albert Park, passing the home of Middlesbrough FC at Riverside Stadium, before looping around the docks to finish back in Centre Square. This is a flat and fast route, perfect for a PB or a first half marathon.

What's Included

Participants will receive a finisher medal, chip timing, post-run goodies, water stations, and a marked and marshalled route.

How to Get There

We recommend using public transport or walking to the event start as many roads in the city centre will be closed for the event.

Event Day Logistics

The Half Marathon starts at 9:00 am and the Junior race starts at 11:30 am. All runners must be aged 17 or older on the day of the event for the half marathon. Race packs must be collected on the day from registration, and there will be a secure bag drop in the event village.
