About the Event
MikeyStrong 5K Fun Run / Walk
Join us for a memorial fun 5K Fun Run/1m Walk to celebrate Mikey Goodwin. Mikey was a vibrant 19-year-old student athlete when diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a deadly form of brain cancer. This fun run/walk will honor Mikey and others lost to this deadly disease and raise funds to help others battle this cancer. The course is on the beach. We have also added Mikey's Turkey Dash, a short run for kids 12 and under.
