About the Event
Miller Park Zoo Stampede
This 5k run, 3k walk, and Fun Run (¼ mile for children 10 and under) is the first on the Lake Run Club (LRC) calendar for the year and is held in historic Miller Park, the surrounding neighborhood and Miller Park Zoo. USATF Certified Course!

- 5K: $45-$35, 10:00AM CST. Registration opens November 1, 2025 at 12:00AM CDT
- 3K Walk (Not Timed): $45-$35, 10:00AM CST. Registration opens November 1, 2025 at 12:00AM CDT
- Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run: $15, 9:30AM CST. Registration opens November 1, 2025 at 12:00AM CDT. Open to ages 10 and under.
Schedule
- Friday: Bib pickup and check-in from 4-6 pm at the pavilion
- Saturday: Check-in starts at 8:00 am. Children's Fun Run begins at 9:30 am. 5K & 3K begin at 10:00 am.
Post-Race
Following the race, participants will head to the 2nd story of the pavilion for an after party, including a fun animal encounter! Awards for participation and best costume will be passed out along with snacks and refreshments. Refreshments and award ceremony will be held on the main floor of the pavilion after the race. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be awarded to 5K participants for overall and age group finishers. An award for best individual and best team costume will be awarded to 5K or 3K participants.
