About the Event
MLK Day 5K Drum Run - Birmingham
This year's 9th Annual Race will be IN PERSON & VIRTUAL. It includes a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, 5K (USATF CERTIFIED #AL24029JE), and a 10K (USATF CERTIFIED #AL24030JE)! The race features drumline musicians from Birmingham area schools and organizations performing along the course. Each drumline will receive a donation to their band booster association. The event includes a warm-up, music, timing, sponsors, and a race goodie bag with the official MLK DAY 5K Drum Run shirt for all entrants. Nonprofits, church groups, schools, foundations, or community groups can register as a team and receive $5.00 back per registered member.
