Event Details

We are thrilled to host the 3rd annual MoCo CARES Charity Race on October 4, 2025, in Gaithersburg, MD. This charity event unites community members and businesses to support our selected charity recipients: SO WHAT ELSE and COVENANT LIFE SCHOOL.

• 10K Race: 8:30 AM
• 5K Race: 8:45 AM
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: 9:00 AM
• Kids Trike-A-Thon: 9:30 AM

• MoCo CARES Charity Race 10K: Distance: 10K, Price: $45.00
• MoCo CARES Charity Race 5K: Distance: 5K, Price: $35.00
• MoCo CARES Charity Race 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Distance: 1 Mile, Price: $25.00
• MoCo CARES Kids Trike-A-Thon: Distance: 1 Mile, Price: $20.00

Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers:

• 1st Place: $200
• 2nd Place: $100
• 3rd Place: $50

Community Involvement

Participants are encouraged to join in a service project post-race to pack non-perishable food boxes for Thanksgiving, benefitting local families in need.
