Moraga Turkey Trot-2025

Join the Moraga Chamber of Commerce on Thanksgiving morning for the annual Moraga Turkey Trot! Trot your way out to the cart path at Moraga Country Club wearing your favorite zany costume, activewear or PJs! You can push a pram, set up a run squad or saunter solo, but just be sure to bring your community spirit!

The morning will include “unofficial” timed 5K and 1.5m races, awards for best Thanksgiving-themed costume and speediest turkey, as well as random bib number draws to earn prizes from local businesses. Runners, walkers and lollygaggers of all ages are welcome!

Advance registration is required. Unfortunately, we cannot take registrations on-site. Registrants receive a T-shirt (sizes & tees not guaranteed - see registration details), a numbered running bib and goodies, while they last!

Participants will check the digital timer at START/FINISH for self-timing. Come enjoy this wholesome tradition and celebrate Thanksgiving morning together!

You do not need to be a member of the Chamber or the Country Club to participate.

Start Times:

• 5K - START TIME (8:10a) – Participants line up by 8am
• 1.5m - START TIME (8:25a) – Participants line up following the departure of 5K (8:15am)

Parking will be limited and traffic laws enforced. Arrange for carpool, drop-offs and walking over, whenever possible.

Packet Pick-Up Info (Bib & Tee)!

We strongly encourage packet pickup (runner bibs and tees) prior to the event. Like last year, pick up will be across the street from Moraga Country Club (Moraga Way/St. Andrews Drive) at the offices of one of our Presenting Sponsors: California 24 Real Estate 1100 Moraga Way, Ste 113, Moraga (across from the race location)

• Wednesday 11/26 (1:00-3:00p)
• Thursday (Event Day) 7:30a-race start
