Mount Ascutney Vertical Backyard

In this challenging race, participants will compete to see who can last the longest by completing laps. Each hour, competitors will ascend 1209 vertical feet, with options for different routes to tackle the elevation gain.

For those who can sustain their energy for 24 hours, the goal is to match the ascent of Mt. Everest from sea level. You can choose between three laps on a 403-foot trail or go for the higher green loop.

We will provide one aid station at the bottom with hot food, and racers will have camping spots available and access to water during the event. The Ascutney Outdoors Center will be utilized for facilities like heat, electricity, and restrooms.

This is a spectator-friendly event with great views and ample opportunity to cheer on participants as they tackle the course.
