Moving Beyond Abuse 5K Race & Charity Walk

Location: Johnson Park - Grove 4, Piscataway, NJ 08854 US
Description: Women Aware's Moving Beyond Abuse 5K Race & Charity Walk will take place (rain or shine) on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Johnson Park - Grove 4 in Piscataway, NJ. This is a USATF-Certified 5K flat course. There is an optional one-mile Charity Walk. Registration covers either option. Teams are encouraged to sign-up. All event proceeds benefit survivors and families moving beyond abuse through Women Aware. This year, we welcome runners, walkers, AND leashed furry companions!
Registration: Advance registration (until 11:59pm on October 8th) is $40. Race day registration is $50. Free for children 11 and under. No charge for leashed furry companions.
Schedule of Events:
- 8:30am: Bib pick-up & Race Day Registration
- 9:30am: Runners Start
- 10:30am: Walk & Wag Starts
- 11:00am: Awards Ceremony
Note: Dogs are welcome to walk with their owners during the 1-Mile Charity Walk, but will not be permitted on the 5K course during the race.
