Mud Sweat and Gears MTB Race
The Mud Sweat and Gears MTB Race takes place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Hudson, IL. This mountain bike race offers various courses for different skill levels: Novice, Sport, Expert, The Caboose (non-competitive), and Kids (under 12).
Courses and Prices:
- Novice Class: $25 (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM CDT), approximately 6-8 miles
- Sport Class: $25 (12:10 PM - 3:45 PM CDT), approximately 14-15 miles
- Expert Class: $25 (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM CDT), approximately 28-31 miles
- The Caboose: $15 (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM CDT), riders choose Novice or Sport/Expert course
- Kids mtb-under 12: Free (9:30 AM - 10:00 AM CDT), approximately 1 mile
Location: 13001 Recreation Area Dr, Hudson, IL 61748 US
Note: Prices increase after August 16, 2025. Sport and Expert courses include short sections of public roads.
