Mutts & Mayhem

Mutts & Mayhem is an exciting canine and companion obstacle course race that will take place at the Green River Swim Area in Greenfield, MA. The race will feature a 1.5 mile course with 20 obstacle stations for both small dogs (up to 40 lbs) and large dogs (40+ lbs). Participants will compete for the quickest time as they traverse the river, jump over barriers, and go through hoops.

The event will be held on Sunday, May 21st starting at 11:00am. In addition to the race, there will be local dog-oriented vendors, prizes, and plenty of fun for spectators. After the race, participants can enjoy a post-race "rinse off", snacks, treats, and take photos to celebrate their success.

Registration for the event is $35.00 for pre-registration by Friday, May 19th and $45.00 on the day of the event. All dogs must be at least 1 year old on race day and participants must be at least 13 years old. Each participant may only run 1 dog at a time in the race. Dogs must be licensed, up to date on vaccinations, and have no health complications that would prevent them from competing.

Safety is a top priority at Mutts & Mayhem. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, including before and after the race. Standard leashes are required and retractable leashes are not allowed. A harness is recommended over a collar. Dogs must be comfortable and secure around other dogs and people.

Participants will have two chances to complete an obstacle. If they cannot complete it after the first attempt, they can try again or complete a designated penalty activity to continue. Participants must clean up after their dogs and waste receptacles will be provided at obstacles for poop bag disposal.
