MVRRC 12th Annual Turkey Trot Run, 1Mile, 5K & 10K Race Event

The Moreno Valley Road Runners Club is thrilled to invite participants to our 12th Annual Turkey Trot fun run at the scenic Lake Perris State Recreation Area. This year's event will take place on November 22, 2025, with registration opening at 7:30 AM.

What to Expect: Before sitting down for your Thanksgiving feast, join us in Southern California’s best Thanksgiving tradition! Participants can run or walk the 5K or 10K courses, and kids aged 12 and under are welcome to participate in the 1-mile race.

Course Overview: Experience a historic route along the Lake Perris Dam, with stunning views of the lake. The race starts and finishes at the Dam, and the 10K will involve running the 5K course twice. The course is flat and free from traffic!

Race Start Times: The kid’s 1-mile race will kick off at 8:15 AM, followed by the 5K and 10K races at 8:30 AM.

Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 boys and girls in the 1-mile race and the top 3 males and females in the 5K and 10K, who will receive trophies.

Registration Fees:
1-Mile Kids Race: $5.00
5K Race: $20.00
10K Race: $25.00
All fees remain the same on race day, no price increase. We accept cash, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. Note: Entrance to the park is $10.00.
