Neck of the Woods Adventure Race

Event Information

Location: Huntersville, NC 28078, US

Date: October 25th, 2025

Time: 7:00 AM mandatory pre-race briefing, 7:30 AM launch, must finish by 12:30 PM

Course Details

This adventure race is set over approximately 30 miles, incorporating biking and trekking with an emphasis on navigation and strategy.

The race is structured as a scavenger hunt with various checkpoints. Each team can opt to tackle all checkpoints or just the mandatory ones, all while racing against the clock for points.

Requirements

Participant Supplies: Bike, bike helmet, blinking rear bike light, food/nutrition, and water.

Team Supplies: Compass, waterproof phone container, pen/sharpie.

Cost

Registration fee is $35 per person. Register by October 9th to guarantee a T-shirt!

Training Tips

Prepare by riding your event bike on gravel paths and practicing navigation with a compass to stay competitive.
