New Castle Band 5K Run and Walk

Calling all runners and walkers! Join us August 2, 2025, for a scenic 5K Fun Run/Walk on the Wilbur Wright Trail, beginning and ending at our local YMCA. This is a family-friendly race; strollers are welcome, but please keep it to your two-legged family members (no pets). This is our inaugural NC Band 5k. Boosters are raising funds to purchase a new sound system to support our Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, Festival, and Open Class Indoor Percussion groups.

You may register online at runsignup.com ahead of time, or register the day of from 7:30-8:30 AM (all registrations will be completed online, even day-of registrations). Packet pick-up will also be on race day, 7:30-8:30 AM. The race will start at 9:00 AM. The race is $20/person, including all processing fees, and you'll receive awesome race swag! Prizes for the top 3 overall male and female finishers. As this is a fun run, we will not be using a timing company this year.
