Event Details

The North Port Firecracker July 4th 5k will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025. This event features:

North Port July 4th 5K Run - A chip-timed race starting at 7:30 AM EDT.
1 Mile Walk - A fun walk around the track starting at 7:45 AM EDT.
VIRTUAL July 4th 5K Run - Participants can complete the distance on their own schedule between July 1 and July 4, submitting results online.

Enjoy refreshments after the race, including breakfast snacks, fruit, and a complimentary menu item card to Chick-fil-A Port Charlotte. T-shirts are available for registrants before June 13, 2025.

Awards

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in various age categories, including Overall Awards and special recognitions for Masters, Grand Masters, and Veterans.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available from 6:15 AM on race day. Please note that all registrations are online only; no cash will be accepted on the day of the event.
