The Neches River Festival Presents "Capes & Crowns" 5K Run. The race will be chip timed by Pelican Timing Services. All race proceeds fund 8 NRF scholarships awarded to community youth.

• NRF Capes and Crowns 5K Run/Walk
  Price: $30 ($20 for ages 1-18)
  Time: 9:00 AM CST - 11:00 AM CST
  Price increases after: February 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST
  Open to ages: 1 - 100

Special Age Based Pricing (For Ages 1-18) for 5K Run/Walk:

• Starting December 4, 2025 - Ending February 1, 2026: $20.00 Race Fee + $2.95 Sign Up Fee
• Starting February 2, 2026 - Ending February 21, 2026: $25.00 Race Fee + $2.95 Sign Up Fee

Course Description: A flat course through Tyrrell Park in Beaumont, suitable for experienced runners and kids alike.

Awards: Custom race medals for all participants. Additional prizes for overall male/female winners and top three in each age group.

Registration Fees:

• Early Online Registration (until February 1, 2026):
  1M - Kids ages 12 and under: $10 (No Race Shirt)
  5K - 18 and under: $20.00
  5K - 19 and over: $30.00
• Late Online Registration (February 2nd - February 21st, 2026):
  5K - 18 and under: $25.00
  5K - 19 and over: $35.00

Included with Registration: FREE gift bag, Custom race shirt (youth & adult unisex sizing available - no shirt guarantee after February 1st), Custom finisher’s medal, Post-race celebration with food, drink, & awards.
