Nutty Cutters 5k

Race Info

Welcome to the 2nd annual NUTTY CUTTERS 5K. This may be the nuttiest 5k race ever. We will have a 5k course set up at Marie Kerr Park consisting of two laps around the park. On each lap, however, there will be two places where you may randomly sent on a shortcut and two places where you might randomly be sent on a long cut - think "Chutes and Ladders!" Come prepared for a little extra distance just in case. You will have the option to choose the "NO CUTTING" option. If you choose this you will not be sent on any short cuts or long cuts. You will run exactly 5k. Note however, that since most runners will be doing long cuts and short cuts, all the prizes given are random. All participants will receive a free shirt until supplies run out. Sizes will be chosen at registration. $100 GRAND PRIZE!! This will be given to a randomly selected race finisher. Last year it was the runner who finished 96th place! There will be other PRIZES as well, so you just might get lucky! or unlucky! Either way this will be lots of fun!
