Oak Mountain Color Run 2025

Event Details

The Oak Mountain Color Run is held on one of the most beautiful trails in Alabama's largest state park. All proceeds go directly to cancer research with the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.

Schedule

• 8:00-8:45 am: Registration
• 8:50 am: Opening Ceremonies
• 9:00 am: Oak Mountain Color Run Begins
• 10:00 am: Fun Run Begins
• 11:00 am: Grand Total Announced/Group Picture
• 12:00 pm: Event ends

Course Options and Prices

Various categories are available for registration:

• Running-5K - Individual (12 and Under): 1 Mile and 5K, Price: $15
• Running-5K - Individual (13 and Older): 1 Mile and 5K, Price: $15
• Running-5K - Team: 1 Mile and 5K, Price: $15
• Running-5K - Sleep In or Virtual Run: 1 Mile and 5K, Price: $15
• Running-1 Mile - Individual (13 and Older): 1 Mile, Price: $15

What to Wear

Participants are encouraged to wear a white shirt, athletic shorts, and running shoes. A colored (non-toxic, washable) powder will be thrown at you during the run. If you pre-register, you will have the option to purchase an OMCR T-shirt or you may bring your own white shirt to wear.

Park Entrance Fee

Please note there is an entrance fee to Oak Mountain State Park: $5 per Adult (age 12+), $2 per Child (age 4 to 11), $2 for Seniors (age 62+), and free for ages 3 and under.
