Location: Historic Occoneechee Speedway Track, 320 Elizabeth Brady Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278

Course Highlights:

• Starts and finishes on the Historic Occoneechee Speedway Track.
• Includes sections of the Riverwalk (Mountains-to-Sea Trail), past the Occaneechi Indian Village, and through Gold Park.
• The middle third of the race goes around and up to the top of Occoneechee Mountain (highest point in Orange County).
• Approximately 3.5 miles are paved, and 3.5 miles are single track around the mountain with gravel access road to the peak.
• Total elevation gain of 700ft, with rocks, roots, steps, and potential mud.

Event Details:

• Time Limit: 2.5 hours (15 min/mile pace). Run/walkers are welcome.
• Aid Stations: Two stations passed twice (Gold Park and bottom of gravel road at the mountain).
• Post-Race: Award-winning beef chili, veggie chili, bread, and coffee at the finish line.
• Proceeds: Go back to local charities and organizations.
• Packet Pick-up: Thursday, January 22nd (TBC) from 4pm-7pm at Eno River Brewing, and race morning from 8am-8:45am.
• Parking: At OE Enterprises, off Elizabeth Brady Road.
