Ocean Fest 5K Beach Run

Join us for the Ocean Fest 5K Beach Run, a fun and exciting event that supports Mother Ocean and nonprofits dedicated to protecting our oceans. The run will take place on the beautiful sands of Surf City, NC, allowing you to enjoy the scenic beach while making a positive impact.

The event is open to both runners and walkers, and the 5K course is timed. Registration fees range from $30.00 to $45.00, depending on when you sign up. Participants who register by September 15 will receive a race T-shirt.

The Ocean Fest 5K Beach Run will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, starting and finishing at 100 North Shore Drive, Beachside, Surf City, NC 28445. Online registration is available until 30 minutes before the race starts. If you prefer, you can also register at the pre-race packet pickup or on race day, as long as you can register online from your phone.

Paid parking is available throughout the town of Surf City, and shuttle bus information can be found on the Ocean Fest website. In addition to the run, Ocean Fest is a two-day beachside festival featuring live music, arts, surf, and eco activities. There will be a beer garden, kids zone, and live bands playing in downtown Surf City until 10 pm.
