About the Event
Event Overview
The Oldham County Sprint Triathlon will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Wendell Moore Park in La Grange, KY.
Course Details:
- Swimming: 400 meters in the John W. Black Aquatic Center (25 meter pool) with a time start every 15 seconds.
- Biking: 10 miles on Oldham County roads (non-closed), with police managing major intersections. This is a hilly course.
- Running: 3K on the park grounds, featuring an asphalt trail with some grass sections.
All triathletes will receive a finish medal, and awards will be given to overall male, female, and team participants, as well as top finishers in various age groups. Additionally, all finishers will be entered for a chance to win one of five cash door prizes during the awards ceremony.
Registration Information
The race costs $75.00 for individuals and $120.00 for three-person teams. Non-USAT members will incur an additional fee to cover one-day insurance. The registration deadline is August 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Maximum participation is limited to 200 entries.
