Ontario Summit Trail Races - September 12, 2026

FarFetched Enterprises is excited to announce the 2026 Ontario Summit Trail Races. We hope that you will join us at Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 for this unique trail experience.

Changes in 2026: There are going to be big changes to the race course this year. We'll be keeping the things that have worked and trying our best to smooth over some of the problem areas. One historic constraint has been trying to get enough miles to create a half marathon. Instead, we will focus on creating a short and a long course that make sense and focus less on the actual distance.

Location, Parking & Schedule

Race HQ is at Wilson Lodge in Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill. Parking is available at reserved pavilions. Please follow volunteer directions.

• 7:00 AM - Packet pickup and same day registration open
• 8:00 AM - Early start of the long course
• 8:45 AM - Packet pickup and same day registration closes
• 9:00 AM - Regular start of the long course
• 9:05 AM - Packet pickup and same day registration re-open
• 9:45 AM - Packet pickup closes
• 10:00 AM - Start of the short course
• 11:00 AM - Post-race food and drink available

Friday Activities

Option to tent or vehicle camp. Casual Friday night social events starting around 7:00 PM. Dinner is on your own, with access to grills and kitchen equipment.

Saturday Morning Breakfast

Fruit, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and baked goods from Plenty the Bakery.

Post-Race Activities

Burritos from R's Market, beer from Peacemaker Brewing, fruit, snacks, and athlete support from In Motion Physical Therapy FLX.

Giveaways

Long sleeve shirt (register before August 22 to guarantee). Pint glass.

Awards

Awards for Overall Female/Male Long Course, Overall Female/Male Short Course, and random participants. Awardees will receive gift cards and race entries.

Volunteers

Volunteers receive breakfast, post-race meal, and a race shirt. Key volunteer positions receive additional rewards. Non-profit groups of 5+ receive a portion of race revenue.

Event Policies

Single price with no increases. Relaxed deadlines for transfers, distance switching, deferrals, and refunds. Deferrals allowed through Friday, September 11th. Refunds available through Friday, September 4th.
