OTC Splash and Dash

A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming, focused on fun and participation over competition. OTC wants to introduce kids and families to how great the multisport life is through this USAT sanctioned event! We celebrate participation! For our regular Super Sprints, timing will be unofficial, and everyone wins for the regular Super Sprints… No longer age based, kids can choose Super Sprint x1 or Super Sprint x2. New this year, kids can choose to do the Super Sprint x2 competitive event! We will have volunteers around supporting safety and fun, making sure kid take breaks mid-swim if need -- and that they catch their breath before heading on towards the run course. Every competitor will be celebrated as they cross the finish line and will go home with an official USAT Splash and Dash medal, or the NEW custom competitive wave medal. Come on out and join the fun!

Registration fees

Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees

• 100 yard swim + 1k run, recommended for ages 6-10
  • $23.39 Early bird (Apr 5 – Jul 31)
  • $28.74 (Aug 1 – Oct 23)
• 200 yard swim + 2km run, recommended for ages 11-15
  • $23.39 Early bird (Apr 5 – Jul 31)
  • $28.74 (Aug 1 – Oct 23)
• 200 yard swim, 2km run - competitive. This wave is the final point-earning opportunity for the USAT NorCal Youth State Series.

  • $71.53 (Aug 1 – Oct 23)

All registrations must have an active USAT membership to participate.

Event day schedule

Schedule is tentative and subject to change.

• 7:30am registration opens
• 8:15am pre-race instructions (all participants must check-in by 8:15!)
• 8:30am Super Sprint x2, in 1 or 2 heats
• 8:50am Super Sprint x1, in 3 or 4 heats
• 9:00am Competitive Super Sprint x2
• 10:15-30am Celebration, Raffle Prizes, & USAT NorCal Youth State Series Awards

Participants will receive a premium item, goody bag, finisher’s medal, and custom swim cap.
