About the Event
The Palo Duro Trail Run is known as the Southwest's ultimate trail run. On October 18, 2025, participants can tackle distances of 25K, 50K, and 50 miles through the stunning Palo Duro Canyon.
The course features a variety of terrains, including rolling singletrack, sand, and technical ascents and descents. As a cupless race, runners must carry their own hydration systems but will find fully stocked aid stations to assist with refills.

- 50 Miler: 6:30 AM
- 50K: 7:00 AM
- 25K: 7:20 AM
Aid Stations
Expect well-maintained aid stations with options such as water, soda, pickle juice, and Hyperlyte Liquid Performance. Food selections include candy, chips, boiled salted potatoes, PB&Js, and famous Date Nut Bars.
