Patriot 5k Run/Walk and 10k--American Legion

RACE INFORMATION

Join us for the 9th Annual Patriot 5k Walk/Run and 10K. We are excited to announce that proceeds from this year’s race will be donated to Homes for our Troops. Homes for our Troops is a non-profit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured 9/11 veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Course

The course consists of a 5k and 10k loop that meanders through the industrial park and back towards Conservation Park. Maps of the course will be posted prior to the race and the course will be marked with signage the morning of.

Awards & Swag

All registered runners will receive a shirt along with finishers medal. Only those runners that are signed up by October 15th will be guaranteed a shirt and finishers medal. We will have some extra made up for those that want to register the morning of the race but remember, there is no guarantee that you will receive the official race swag.

Awards will go to:

• 1st place overall Male and Female 5k and 10k
• 1st place Male and Female Masters Division 5k and 10k
• 1st place Male and Female Grand Masters Division 5k and 10k
• Age group: 1st, 2nd and 3rd ages 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (male/female for each race)

Special note: Strollers, wagons and baby joggers will be allowed on the course but only at a walk pace capacity. No running with the above mentioned will be allowed. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates, skateboards will be allowed on the course. This rule is a RRCA regulation.

Packet Pick-up

Packet Pickup is at the American Legion post on Friday, November 7th from 1-7pm (preferred). You may also pick up your packet the morning of race starting at 7am.
