Event Details
The Pemberton Trail 50K/25K starts on Saturday, Jan 24, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Races take place entirely on trails in McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, AZ. Participants will enjoy a scenic course with rolling hills and fantastic volunteer support.
Award Categories
Awards will be presented for overall winners, as well as masters and super masters champions.
Weather and Course Marking
In January, Arizona weather can range from 35 to 90 degrees. Be prepared for any conditions. The course is a well-marked hiking trail, with signs indicating the Pemberton Trail.
McDowell Mountain Cup Series
This event is part of the McDowell Mountain Cup series. Participants can also compete in the Stoneman Trail Run on Saturday, Feb. 8, and the Snakebite 20K or 10K on Sunday, Feb. 23, for a chance to win Mountain Cup prizes.
