Plogging Day at Splau

The Splau shopping center is organizing a new edition of Plogging Day, a free activity that combines outdoor exercise with waste collection. The objective of this initiative is to foster healthy lifestyle habits and promote respect for the environment.

The event will be led by the Corresolidaris association. The activity will consist of a 4.8 km route around the Llobregat river and the nearby forest, on an itinerary accessible to all levels.

This new edition is celebrated as part of the ‘Sostibaix, la quinzena sostenible del Baix Llobregat’ campaign, an initiative by the Baix Llobregat Tourism Consortium that promotes proximity, responsible, and environmentally conscious tourism. From October 13 to November 2, local companies and entities will organize activities for all audiences with a common goal: to care for our environment and highlight the natural and cultural heritage of the region.

The meeting point will be on the 0 floor of the shopping center, next to the main entrance. To participate, you need to register with Splau Club and reserve your spot. All registered participants will receive a Splau Running Club t-shirt.

Plogging originated in Stockholm in 2016 and has since spread internationally through social media, becoming a prominent environmental practice and an active, committed way to care for the environment.

With this initiative, Splau reaffirms its commitment to the environment and to promoting activities that generate a positive impact on the local community, while encouraging an active, responsible, and sustainable lifestyle.
