Pocahontas Trail Festival

Join us for the Pocahontas Trail Festival on October 1, 2023, at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield, VA. This event offers two courses: a Half Marathon with a distance of 13.1 miles and a 10k with a distance of 6.2 miles. The prices for the Half Marathon and 10k are $65.00 and $55.00, respectively. Racers will receive a professionally chipped time race, live results, custom PTF logoed swag, and a custom PTF Finishers medal for the 10k or 1/2 marathon. The race starts at 9 am, and the staging area is located about 1 1/2 miles straight into the park on State Park Rd. Parking is available for $10 per car load, and cash is the fastest way to move past the contact station. Packet pickup is available on race day from 7:30-9 am at the staging area. The course has been redesigned to offer a better trail race experience, with picturesque views and good footing most of the way. Aid stations will be available approximately every 3 miles, and there are two indoor bathrooms near the start/finish. Teams of 4 or more can enter the 10k as a team and will be eligible for individual and team awards. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
