PYO Glow Run

Location: Athens Valley Playland, 2 South River Street, Athens, PA 18810 US
Description: Get Ready to LIGHT up the NIGHT! Join us for our PYO GLOW RUN, a fun energetic fundraiser benefitting Penn-York Opportunities. Don your brightest neon gear and glow-in-the-dark accessories as we take to the woods for a radiant 5k run/walk. The course will be aglow with glow sticks, solar lights, and an electric atmosphere. This one-of-a-kind event will be held at Valley Playland in Athens, PA (2 South River St. Athens, PA 18810). Walk or run a route along the scenic Diahoga Trail along the Susquehanna River. All participants will receive a glow in the dark ribbon and glow sticks.
Schedule:
- Registration opens at 4:30 PM EDT
- Race starts at 6:15 PM EDT
- Awards ceremony at 7:30 PM EDT
Registration:
- Pre-registration (by September 19, 2025): $30 (includes free T-shirt)
- Day-of-race registration: $35
Prizes: Various prizes awarded to top finishers in different age categories.
