Race for Education 5K Run/Walk

Join us Saturday, November 8, 2025, for the Race for Education 5K Run/Walk at Tradewinds Park. This community-driven event benefits the CSCCRC Chamber Education Foundation, supporting students and teachers in local schools. Proceeds help provide essential classroom materials, resources, and educational enhancements. All participants receive a race bib with RFID timing chip, event dri-fit shirt, goodie bag, and finisher medal. Awards are given to the top 3 overall (male and female) and top 3 in each age group (1-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+).

Schedule of Events

• Friday, November 7, 2025: 3:00pm-7:00pm Pre-Race Packet Pickup at Runner's Depot - Coral Springs (2806 N University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 3306)
• Saturday, November 8, 2025:
  • 6:00am: Park gates open
  • 6:15am: Registration open
  • 6:30am: Music and entertainment begin
  • 6:50am: Pre-Race 5K Warm Up
  • 6:55am: National Anthem and Announcements
  • 7:00am: Start of the Race for Education 5K Run/Walk
  • 8:00am: Dancing with DJ Petey
  • 8:15am: Awards Ceremony

Courses and Prices

• Running - 5K: Individual Registration - $35.00 (June 1 - Sept 30), $37.50 (Oct 1 - 31), $39.50 (Nov 1 - 7), $50.00 (Nov 8)
