Events:

• Race to Conserve - 5K Run (Timed) - Ages 8 and Up Only. Start Time: 8:00 AM EST.
• Race to Conserve - Walk 1K to 5K - (Not Timed). Walkers Start: 8:15 AM EST. Walkers can choose their distance between 1K or 5K routes.

Important Details:

• The deadline to be guaranteed an event shirt is January 28, 2026.
• Runners/Walkers under age 8 can participate for FREE.
• Packet Pick-Up date/time and location TBA.
• Water stations will be available on the 5K route and at the Finish Line. Walkers are encouraged to bring their own water.
• Leashed dogs are permitted in accordance with park rules.
• The race route takes you into the natural area of the park with maintained but natural trails. Please wear appropriate closed-toe footwear.
• Post-race snacks, beverages, and information booths will be available.
• A silent auction and a 50/50 raffle will be held.

About the Park:

Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park offers 315.6 acres of land, including active use and environmental areas. The park features trails, a pool, and a recreation center promoting healthy lifestyles.

Why Support This Race?

Proceeds from this event will be utilized toward future land acquisition purchases to conserve natural areas and wildlife. The Environmental Conservancy of North Port, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to saving neighborhood nature.

Awards:

In-person awards will be presented to 5K runners in various categories (Youth, Overall, Masters, Age Groups). Walkers will not receive a bib or timing.
