Ready, Set, SNIFF! 5K Race and 1-Mile Walk at BARCStoberfest
This event takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025 and includes a 5K race and a 1-mile walk. Participants can run or walk individually or with their dogs. The event supports BARCS animal shelter.
5K Race: Participants must register through Runsignup.org. The race fee includes a commemorative T-shirt, a doggie bandana, and a free drink.
1-Mile Walk: Participants must register on the BARCStoberfest site and create a fundraising page, aiming to raise at least $50. Walkers also receive a T-shirt, bandana, and a free drink.
Location: Patterson Park, Baltimore, MD, US
Schedule:
- 7:30am: Registration/Check-in opens
- 9:30am: Race begins
- 10:00am: BARCStoberfest Festival opens
- 10:30am: 5K Awards
- 10:00am-3:00pm: Beer Garden opens
- 12:00pm: Pet Costume Contest
- 2:00pm: Festival Concludes
