Ride for Their Lives with MTHPHC

This event is free, but donations are welcome! Join us for a 10- or 20-mile bike ride to raise awareness for the effects of climate change on children's health. Open to health professionals and anyone concerned about this issue! Sponsored by Billings Trailnet and Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate.

Location: Meadowlark Brewery, 3970 Pierce Pkwy, Billings, MT 59106 US

Additional Information:
For 20 miles, meet at Meadowlark Brewery by 9:45 for a 10 am departure. For 10 miles, meet at the West End Children's Clinic, 3401 Avenue B and depart at approximately 10:20. All participants must pre-register AND check in. Participants must check-in at the start, sign a liability statement, and wear the armband provided at the time of check-in to participate. Riders will bike to and from downtown. Maps will be posted by September 7. There will be a mid-way break with drinks, snacks, and free treats from the Bailey's Ice Cream Truck, as well as 15 minutes with speakers on climate change and youth and local actions from 10:50-11:10 at the EV Chargers in front of the Billings MRI Center 2900 12th Ave. N, before the return to the West End. At noon at the Meadowlark, there will be prizes (10 milers will need to commute down to Meadowlark to participate). Air Quality: if AQ is over 150, the ride will be canceled (airnow.gov for 59101). If AQ is 100-150 we will have a RALLY for climate change and kids and a shortened ride with face masks to draw attention to air and climate and health! All registrants will receive an email by 8 am on 9/14/25. If thunderstorming, the ride is off; if raining, the ride is still on.
