Ring in the New Year with a 10k trail race highlighting some of the best trails at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. There is also a 5K option. The start is at the Rush Pavilion on the ASC Greenway at 10:00 AM. Bib pickup will start at 9:00 AM at the same location. Registrants will receive their pick of a bell; awards will be given to overall and age group winners. Join the Rock Hill Striders for a low-key event to start your year on a healthy stride.

Donation Levels

This year, the cost of the race has been reduced to minimum required to pay the race expenses with the ASC Greenway. At registration, you will have the opportunity to select a donation level that will be used to support an organization in western NC that is helping with Hurricane Helene recovery. More information about the specific organization will be provided. Please consider donating.

If there is a donation level you want to support the race at or if you would like to donate directly to the club, please contact the race director.

History

The Ring In races have been held for several years, always at the same location, but with varying lengths, depending on the year (18K in 2018, etc.). That model, however, was not going to work in the long run so the race was changed to an 8K, and this will be a 10K distance. We think that this is a good distance for New Year's Day.
