River City Half Marathon

Race Details

Kick off Fall with Revolution Running at the River City Half Marathon! We are excited and proud to have this race along the scenic Columbus Riverwalk. This point-to-point race starts at Lake Oliver Marina in Columbus and ends at Oxbow Meadows, just outside of Ft. Moore.

Course Information

The course features approximately 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline, making it extremely fast. Runners will enjoy views along the scenic Chattahoochee River, cross over the North Highlands Dam, run through historic Downtown Columbus, and traverse Oxbow Meadows to the finish line.

Event Features

All registered participants will receive a high-quality hoodie, and all finishers will receive a beautiful finisher's medal.

Buses

This is a point-to-point race. Buses will shuttle participants from Oxbow Meadows (race finish) back to Lake Oliver Marina (race start). Bus pickups will occur on race morning from the South end of the Hampton Inn parking lot, located at 2870 S Lumpkin Rd, Columbus GA, 31903.

Aid Stations

Multiple aid stations will be located along the course at miles 2.5, 6.75, and 10, offering electrolyte drinks, water, gels, and fruit to help every runner achieve their goal.

Post Race Celebration

Free food and drinks will be provided for all finishers at the finish line festivities, with food tickets available for purchase for spectators and guests.

Several hotel options are available in Columbus. The Hampton Inn (closest to the finish line) is located at 2870 S Lumpkin Rd, Columbus GA 31903, and The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel (closest to the start line) is at 5351 Sydney Simons Blvd, Columbus GA 31904.

Virtual Option

If you can't make it to Columbus, sign up for the virtual half marathon! Participants will receive their medal and hoodie by mail.
