Rocket Relay Run – Ready for re-launch?

After the summer edition of the Rocket Record Run, it’s time for the Rocket Relay Run: the relay version of our lightning-fast track event at AV Lionitas in Leeuwarden. This time it’s not about your personal record, but about teamwork and fun. One mission: blaze across the finish line as fast as you can.

How it works

You register individually and will be randomly placed in a team of four. Everyone runs multiple short distances, between 100 and 400 meters each time. You’ll start the first round in a random heat. Based on the teams’ performances, your new opponents will be determined. In total, you will start about 4 times. Expect short, explosive runs, lots of cheering, and a massive burst of energy on the track.

Autumn edition – Rain or shine

The Rocket Relay Run will go ahead unless the weather really makes it impossible. In case of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule or cancel the event.

Practical information

• Location: Athletics Club Lionitas, Middelzeelaan 20, 8931 AK Leeuwarden
• Teams: 4 people per team (randomly assigned)
• Cost: €5 per person
• Date & Time: Sunday, November 16, from 10:30 AM
• Facilities: changing rooms, toilets, water station
• Media: photos and videos will be taken for social media
