Royal Oaks Sunrise Trail Race

Location: Royal Oaks Trailhead, Big Creek Conservation Area, Kirksville, MO

Distances: 10K and 3 Mile Walk

This scenic race features breathtaking views as participants wind through the trails. The 10K will take you COUNTER-clockwise on the Rainbow Basin Loop in Thousand Hills State Park, rewarding you with stunning vistas of Forest Lake.

Registration is open until Thursday, August 21 at 11:59 PM CT. The cost is just $15 for the 10K or the 3 Mile Walk.

Awards

The overall male and female 10K winners will receive a free entry into this year's FLATS Trail Half Marathon, while age division winners will get FLATS trucker hats.

Runner Support

Expect one aid station located at miles 1.5 and 4.5. No packet pick-up available; check-in on race day from 5:30 AM to 6:15 AM.

Trail Etiquette

Please be considerate of fellow runners and share the trail respectfully.

Weather Policy

The race will proceed rain or shine. However, the management reserves the right to delay or modify the race for safety.

Registration Policy

This event serves as a fundraiser for the Forest Lake Area Trail System with no refunds. Registrants may transfer their entries until August 22.
