Description: Most of the first mile of the 5K winds through Regent Square streets. The remainder of the race is through Frick Park’s cross-country trails, ending in Fern Hollow. The 1.5 Mile Run/Walk takes place on the charming streets of Regent Square. Dogs are allowed in the 1.5 Mile Run/Walk only (must be leashed). The 5K is a USATF sanctioned event; therefore, dogs are prohibited.
Additional Information: All registered participants receive a t-shirt. Dogs receive scarves. T-shirt sizes are requested at packet pick-up. Pre-race packet pick-up is Friday, August 22, from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM at the Wilkins School Community Center, 7604 Charleston Avenue, Swissvale. Packets can also be picked up starting at 7:00 AM on Saturday, August 23.
