Run for a Reason

Race Info

Join us on Saturday February 21st, for the Angel Kids Foundation Run for a Reason. Our event will be held at the Ed Austin Regional Park. Proceeds from the race will benefit Angel Kids Foundation.

Start Format: 8:30 a.m. Runners will be self seeded and begin from the START/FINISH ARCH. Over All awards will be based off of Gun Time. All age group awards will be based off chip time. The event will be professionally chip timed by Second Wind Race Timing.

5K & 10K Races

Over All Winners: Men - 1st Place, Women - 1st Place

In addition, age groups award certificates will be emailed to all finishers in the following categories: 11 & UNDER, 12-13, 14-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

DAY OF RACE EVENT SCHEDULE

• RACE DAY REGISTRATION: 6:00am - 7:00am
• RACE START TIMES: 8:00am - 5K/10K RACES start
• 9:00am - 1 Mile Youth Race Begins
• 9:15am - Course Closes & Award Ceremony begin

Course Details

5K Course Map:

The 5K is an out and back run along the beautiful Ed Austin walk way. Start and finish are located near the football field. The 10K will be a 2 lapped version of the 5K course.
